Offering innovative solutions to wastewater problems requires a company to listen to customers, be on top of industry regulations, and seek out the best technology to solve evolving wastewater issues. In 2024, ICS Group announced its new strategic partnership with H2O Innovation. This partnership marks an exciting collaboration between two industry leaders in their respective fields, with the aim of revolutionizing the water treatment and management industry. ICS Group is the H2O Innovation manufacturer's representative throughout Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois.
About H2O Innovation
H2O Innovation is a global leader in customized water treatment solutions, well-positioned to address the increasing demand for innovative and sustainable water management practices. The company's state-of-the-art technologies and extensive experience have positioned them as an industry frontrunner.
H2O Innovation's headquarters is in Quebec City, Canada and employs more than 1,100 employees. With more than 800 facilities installed in the United States and Canada, 90% of the projects are manufactured in Champlin, Minnesota. In addition to the headquarter and plant locations, our engineering staff are positioned at offices in Burlington, Ontario (Canada), Calgary, Alberta (Canada), and Bilbao. Along with manufacturing the technology, H2O Innovation provides operations and maintenance service to water and wastewater facilities. The Operations & Maintenance team have regional offices in Gulfport, MS (USA), Houston, TX (USA), and Las Vegas, NV (USA).
H2O Innovation integrates high quality products into systems to meet stringent effluent quality and performance criteria. A key differentiator is their open-source model, which allows clients to use multiple membrane products during the life of their water and wastewater treatment systems for maximum flexibility and cost efficiency. Areas of expertise include:
NF/RO applications are used to remove unwanted salts and contaminants from a feed water stream. It is commonly used in drinking water, water reuse and desalination applications.
Systems are designed to achieve removal of TDS, TOC, alkalinity, sodium, chloride, phosphate, iron, manganese, arsenic, boron and other salts or contaminants based on membrane projections which simulate the rejection of these contaminants by the NF/RO membrane.
Ultrafiltration (UF) and microfiltration (MF) membrane systems are used in drinking water, water reuse and pre-treatment applications for removal of turbidity, total suspended solids (TSS), particulates, viruses, bacteria and other contaminants typically found in surface water, seawater, wastewater and other sources.
H2O Innovation provides complete UF/MF systems from small pilot units to large, multi-train facilities. Our open-source model allows the system to be custom-designed around several different products and membrane materials to meet the clients’ requirements and preferences.
H2O Innovation was a pioneer in development of the open platform, or universal, UF/MF system, with the first full scale universal rack in operation in North America at Clifton Water District in Colorado. This concept is the basis of the FiberFlex™ design and allows the use of several different products within the same system, to maximize the benefit of a growing UF/MF market. Systems can be designed to fit two, three or more pressurized UF/MF modules, giving the customer more options to select membranes based on competitive pricing, warranty, preference, materials of construction and other important factors.
The first open-source membrane bioreactor design that can operate MBR modules from different suppliers. This pioneering technology provides flexibility to switch from one membrane to another without having to redesign the entire plant. H2O Innovation's unique approach allows the end-user to choose the bet membrane from 5 of the leading membrane manufacturers.
To date, H2O Innovation has built MBR facilities with hollow-fiber, flat-sheet polymeric and flat-sheet ceramic membranes.
Small footprint, with high effluent quality and sludge thickening capabilities.
Ideal for handling high or variable organic loading to a plant, such as in industrial wastewater treatment applications. These systems can be delivered as a site build, packaged plant or containerized plant.
Packaged plants may include everything from fine screening and equalization to disinfection and sludge handling and are built in steel tanks, shipped to site fully assembled. Containerized systems are fully enclosed and can protect equipment from harsh conditions or simply provide an aesthetically pleasing exterior.
Incorporates all the components of a complete Water Treatment Plant on site arrival.
Fully factory tested, units are quickly deployable for emergency treatment, temporary capacity increase and scheduled equipment maintenance.
Dimensions: 53ft L x 8.5ft W x 9.5ft H
Minimum Inlet pressure requirement of 15 psi (100 kPa)
Compact Logix Allen Bradley PLC
24” HMI with remote access to all HMI functions
Two (2) trains with nominal net capacity of 1.25 MGD (4.75 MLD) per train
Toray HFU2020AN or HFUG2020AN membranes with 90-97% recovery range
